Playing The Machines is a story about people who have become addicted to playing VLT machines, featuring interviews with TRAILER PARK BOY’S, John Dunsworth, Keith Piercey father of SUSAN PIERCEY, from CORNER BROOK, NL a young woman who started gambling at 18 and took her life, and SHERRY RHYNO of Bedford, N.S., lost her husband to suicide because of gambling. Ches Crosbie leading a class action lawsuit in Newfoundland taking on Keith Piercey’s case about his daughter’s suicide and Richard Gergel who won the case to ban VLT’s in South Carolina for good.
Playing The Machines shows us that Governments have become as dependent on the money as the people who are addicted to playing the machines.
